On Sunday, June 5th, The
Kavli HUMAN Project at New York University presented “Mission H.U.M.A.N.” at
World Science Festival 2016: an interactive experience where guests learned how scientists are ushering in a new era of studying humans by bringing together scientists from different disciplines and with the help of new technologies. The “
Street Science” Fair was an 8 hour event that allowed New Yorkers to play interactive games and watch demos that contributed to their knowledge of science. The festival goers that visited the Kavli HUMAN Project booth were able to see what lies in store for the future of studying people and became citizen scientists by testing their reaction times and participating in a digital scavenger hunt across the Festival. Prizes were awarded and families had fun competing against members within their households.
