Dr. Nadav Aharony is a product manager at Google's Android team, where he works on context and location related products and technologies. Prior to that, he was co–founder and CEO at Behavio, which was acquired by Google in April 2013. At Behavio he developed a mobile sensing platform for understanding human behavior. Nadav had been at Google before Behavio as well, where he was the product manager for the Android versions of Gmail, Calendar, and Google Keep. Nadav has over 12 years of experience in engineering, product management, and business development roles. He holds doctoral and master's degrees from the MIT Media Lab, where he investigated the use of mobile phones as social and behavioral sensors, conducted one of the largest mobile data experiments done in academia to date, and initiated the open source mobile sensing platform Funf.org. Nadav was also a fellow at the MIT Center for Civic Media, working on mobile and social activism topics. He received his bachelor'ʹs degree in electrical engineering cum–laude from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. His work has been featured in academic and popular press, in notable publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Wired, Businessweek, and Technology Review.
